A lot of the 7-8 mile trail travels along the Lake Fork stream as well as in lodge pole pine forests. Riders and hikers alike get to enjoy a variety of scenery; from rushing water, pine forest, leaves changing color, lots of granite boulders near the trail, to gorgeous sights of high mountain ridges and peaks. We each had a can of bear spray just incase we encountered a bear. we were happy none were spotted. I would have liked to have seen some deer, elk or a moose but we didn't see them either. The pine squirrels were the only wildlife we saw as they dashed to a tree or chattered at us as we passed by.
Most of theses photos were taken by Eddie Coombs with Bob and I adding a few.
